This is my first year homeschooling. My daughter is in second grade this year and I am so glad to have her home. I also have a 21 month old son. I never expected that I would homeschool my children, but after I had my youngest I just knew it was what I was supposed to do. I thought it was a huge step just becoming a stay at home mom. I am so glad I made this decision. It was hard to get my hubby on board in the beginning. He came around and told me he trusted me with our children's education. We are what you would call eclectic. I have different books and curriculums for everything. We are structured in some areas and in some we are not. This has been exciting so far and I can not wait for what is to come! I have been lurking here for a while now and you ladies have given me some great ideas! I look forward to getting to know you all.
