Hello....My name is Rachel and I am just starting this adventure of homeschooling with my soon to be 4th grade son. He is currently enrolled in a Charter School...but with the new Common Core testing here in California...I have decided to take the leap and go on my own. I am so tired of all the test reviews that take up way too much time. I pretty much taught my son, since kindergarten, at home through the Charter school...they just supplied the materials and had me bring my son in for all the testing. So next year, I am planning on branching out on my own and concentrating our time on actually learning instead of trying to get him ready for a test that funds the Charter School and frustrates both of us. I am excited about using this forum to learn from all the homeschooling "experts" :love: Any help would be appreciated. Just knowing that I am not alone in this new adventure is reassuring.
