Hello All~ I spent some time reading some of your posts before I registered, and this seems like a quality forum for homeschooling parents. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing! I'm Jeanna, 28 yo. I have a son, who is 10. We just started homeschooling in August, but it's something I've wanted to do for a long time now. I was a single parent for nearly ten years until I found my (almost) husband, and working several jobs to put myself through school and provide for my son. During this extremely exciting and hopeful time in my life, I am mainly seeking encouragement and knowledge, and perhaps kinship. Thank you for listening.. ~J.

I grew up outside of the burgh!! What a town! Now living in extremely rural SW pa near Somerset.. Love the country! Hate the drive to the supermarket!!
Do you live near Greensburg? We go out that way about once a year. We live on the eastern side of the state though. We're glad to have you here!

Welcome, Flowerchild. Just realized I never welcomed you. You still can't get on the "Other Conversation" board. No wonder it has slowed down. I mean I don't think anyone posts as much as you! LOL. I mean I am always saying "Is that Flowerchild AGAIN?" LOL.
LOL I know!! It's crazy that I am an addict and not an "other" yet. I just have to keep posting, though, because I am psyched to have people who understand to talk to!! You just wait until I can get on that board! lol.
