There has been so much going on here, I feel its time for some extra prayers. Let me start with what happened last friday: After returning returning from the second trip to a bank, because the first one had just been closed due to robery my step dad's evening got even more tiresome. He works in a grocery store and a lady yelled that her purse had just gotten stolen and that the guy that took it ran to the bathroom with it, My step dad confronted the man. It made for a very long night. (they found several wallets and purses on the man). He was high on Meth....... Then on saturday my mom and step dad watched the kids and all had fun and took their minds off things. When they brought the kids back on Sunday we found out that my Uncle would still be able to sell things on E-bay to make money to pay back what he stole ( he would have to pay for the stuff at their cost and it would have to be approved) this made me and my dh very upset because we spend so much time doing their e-bay for their store for their proffit. (supposidly he won't be able to sell the stuff we sell:roll: ) a little bit later my mom came back over with some stuff the kids forgot at her house and I gave her back all the remaining stuff we had to be put on E-bay and told her we were upset that she would let her brother still put stuff on E-bay and we were done:!: (ok I siad some hurtful things as she drove off). Yesterday she had told the kids she was going to pick up some pictures from the kids because she is leaving today to go see our Aunt and cousins in Spokane, I was planning on appologising for my harsh words, but she never did, I sent her an e-mail and left a phone message that I was sorry and that I loved her. Boy this is getting long, sorry. On Saturday also a Quick mart worker (like 7-11) was shot dead because 3 men were steeling beer and the man confronted them, this was just a few blocks from us, yesterday there was a police helicopter circling right over us, in a very tight radious. (the kids thought it was neat) but we knew they were looking for the 3 suspects. Then last night there were police (2-3 cars) accross the street checking out the new neighbors, as if some one had tried to break in, they were also flashing their car lights at the house next to us on the left (from accross the street). So we were worried, we checked on the sleeping kids, and dh put a bar in the window in the boys room. we went to bed, because all was quiet. then a little bit later I saw bright lights, the helicoptor was searching for someone again (police copter) and the police were back over at the neighbors. We also watched the 10 O'clock news--wich is later than we usually watched and they showed a house they thouht one of the bad guys were in----in our neighbor hood, probably just up the street and around the corner from the looks of it. (the first helicoptor probably helping them). So we are sort of keeping the kids in today, with the doors shut and locked I hate this feeling. Can you pray that things will settle down around here. Pray for my step dad and that things will be calm at his store. Maybe even for the guy that got shot at the corner store (gas station) he had 3-4 kids. maybe I need to go make a pineapple upside down cake because I feel like things have been so upside down lately.
So you think what- the neighbors had the suspects in their house?? Watch the news at noon and maybe you'll find out what's up. I know you feel creepy. I hate that violated feeling and I hope it passes soon.
no I think that something else happened with the accross the street neighbors, like an atempted break in, but I don't know, they wrere just looking really close with a flashlight inside and out of one of the street side bedrooms (kids room). But the dad and seamed that the kids weren't there. The people next door to the left of us are just wierd, no mom home, teenagers with friends that hang out, they seamed a little skidish. (they have had the police at theier house before).
Becky none of this would have happened if you would have just moved down here. LOL.:wink: I'd rather have nosey neighbors than loud in and out pounding car radio neighbors. That need the police just a week or so after they move in.:shock:
Amy I hope things get better soon. Praying here. This last winter my dh took the dirtbikes out of the garage and they had to come in the house. Basement. There where lots of break in around our neighborhood. Our garage door almost got kicked in you could see where they were tring. Then across the street the neighbor had 7 guns stollen. Scary to think they now have weapons. Then we saw that others had their garage windows boarded to prevent or maybe they were broke into too. It was all a little freaky. Then it all stoped. My dh has all the bikes (3 of them) now chained together in the garage. I will also pray for the bad guys for if they would just turn to God and trust him their lives would be better. Again I hope things settle down soon.
Oh Amy! Many prayers sweetie! I hope that you and everyone else can stay safe and that you can patch things up with your mom, which I am sure you will.:love: Keep us posted!
How scary for you...I hope things will sttle down soon. And I hope your mom will call you back so you can get back on track with her. You know, it's not always a bad thing to tell the people you love you don't agree with with them, so maybe she will think about it a little bit. btw, when you make that pineapple upside down cake save some for me...that's one of my favorites!
my mom called this morning to say bye befofe she left for her trip and I felt like things were ok. I think she got her feelings hurt (which I appologised for) but I don't think she understands why I got upset in the first place........... I hope my aunt can help her understand some. thanks for every one who has put us in their prayers, it really has been a tiresome few days, plus with the heat, the kids are going crazy.
