I did not know this, so forgive an old fool... And posting in case others did not know.... You can bring the mailers or circulars (The ads) for your neighborhood grocery stores to your local Walmart and when you get to the register, they honor the others store's price, if it is lower! No need to drive all around for the lower price on different things! Check with your local store manager for that particular store's direct policy and do what you can to save money on food! Yep, it's called price matching. It used to be that you didn't even need the circulars, you could just tell them. I use this all the time. It save me the trouble of having to go to different stores for their sale items. Glad you found this out, even if it was later rather than sooner.
Check your local wal-mart regulations also as many of the wal marts will not honor meat pricing unless the meat is pre-packaged. 3 of our 4 local wal-marts are like that...the 4th will still honor them.
