Yup, I'm here !! Haven't had much time to 'play' lately with dd's broken leg, I've been sick, the main floor of the house is in TOTAL upheaval AND having to do our school work on the main floor (she couldn't get to the basement the first week and a half). So ... I'm headed back down to the classroom this morning. I have the books piled up and ready to go. It's dark down there as opposed to upstairs, but I've missed the order of it all... and my eight foot table and my chalkboard, etc. Although ... I DID get a lot done while we were upstairs, in the way of housework. Later girl. WCL

HEY, KATHE!!! Glad to see you finally migrated over! Hope your DD's leg is doing well; how'd she break it? We've been busy, too. Mom has been in the hospital for about three weeks straight with serious stomach problems; she had surgery last week and they successfully removed a large tumor and they are now diagnosing lymphoma. On top of that, my kids (and I!!!) managed to pick up lice somewhere (UGH!!!); we discovered one on my DS on Easter Sunday! That's been a pain; am still inspecting their scalps almost DAILY with an electronic nit comb. Then Friday my oldest DD had her piano recital - the same time as my other DD's dress rehearsal for her dance recital (held on Saturday, right after oldest DD's soccer game....) Didn't mean to go on, but there are times when I feel I'm going to BURST!!! Add to that the "normal" problems of trying to keep a clean house, getting school done, planning for next year....... HEY! Would you believe HS Classified has the kids' Power Glide for $30? But of course, it's SPANISH, not FRENCH! Sigh..... I did settle on "The Mystery of History", though. We had luch with a friend the other day, and it's what she uses. Looked over it and was impressed. Went home and checked HS Classified, and it had JUST BEEN POSTED that day for less than half-price! So, as they say, "The check's in the mail".

Hey Deena girl........ We missed you too! BUT HEY! I understand when your month is sooo busy! Not to mention that a lot of hs year around, so we have to take off time here and there! I know if I don't take some down time,I get *batty* Oh well, glad you made it over! I'm getting ready for next year.I'm not taking off too more much time until October...we have been playing and cutting our lessons short these past couple of weeks with all the spring weather So I have to *bunker down* after my homeschoool convention next week, and hit hard until October again Oh well, I can enjoy this next week or so Glad to hear your ok! Thanks for asking, Jackie and I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. I hope things work out well for you all. DD broke her leg when she was riding her bike, ran into one of her little brothers and then fell off it. That was on April 15th. They did a surgery on her Thursday (April 29) where they drained the fluid off her knee, and I took her back yesterday for her third (and hopefully final) cast. May promises to be quite busy for us, as well. I'm gathering next year's resources, some of which we're starting already, and will acquire a few more things over the summer while we work along at a reduced pace. I decided I've had enough of prodding oldest ds through his Lifepac 7 science, so I put that up for sale today along with the brand new video, unopened. Sometimes enough is enough.
