Not The Flu......

    but sure feels just like it. I went yesterday and got the mouth swab and it did come back negative...YAY. Now if I could just start to feel better. I have not done a darn thing the last three days but sleep and try to stay hydrated. I feel so guilty for just lying around. I think that DD is coming down with this same bug also:cry:. Guess I need to get some windows open and air the house out.

    I once had the flu...or I thought.. It lasted 4 months come to find out I was pregnant...lol. I had the prettiest little flu bug...

    I thought I would let you know of a home remedy I use for my family.

    If I could have only one medicine or herbal remedy I would choose, hands down this charcoal, bentonite mix for detoxing and cleansing. (You have to have flax, psyllium or some type of fiber mixed in because this can be binding which can defeat your purpose to cleanse and remove the source of your problem.)


    Remember to Drink lots of water to help flush your body and to help insure proper bowel movements and to keep the toxins moving out more efficiently.

    1 part food grade charcoal
    1 part bentonite
    2 part ground flax
    2 part ground psyllium

    The ratios I use for my kids are: 1/8 tsp charcoal, 1/8 tsp bentonite, 1/4 tsp ground flax, and 1/4 tsp ground psyllium. I double that for myself and my DH. Sometimes I will triple it for the adults if they are doing really bad, but I haven't yet had to up the amount for my kids.

    Mix with 2 or 3 heaping T. of apple sauce or 2 oz. water or juice. (tastes like chalk) on empty stomach is preferable but I have also used it when we have eaten out and my kids feel sick from the food they just ate. It has worked with and without food. Drink a big glass of water. Wait 30 min. before eating if possible. You can use this 3 times a day.

    My DD had a day where she went from running and playing to so sick she couldn't move. I gave her one dose and within 20 minutes she was up and running around again. She said she felt 100% better. Others who wouldn't take this mix, with the same symptoms would be sick for days. Toddlers with diarrhea? This mix sweetens the whole gut and intestines. I love this stuff!

    We have used this for flu, viruses (yes,it absorbs viruses.) food poisoning, or diarrhea. So far for me any and all sickness have responded to this mix. Anything that involves toxins. My friend has used this along with diet to recover from Cancer and her DH liver has improved using this program.

    It also cleanses out heavy metals, poisons and toxins. What it does do is--As far as I know it doesn't kill Parasites, What it does do- is clean up their toxic by products.

    I hope that helps you out. You can buy everything at a health food store. The food grade charcoal is also called Activated Charcoal. Most health food stores sell it in capsules and you just have to open each capsule to get the charcoal out. I order my charcoal in bulk so it doesn't come in capsules though. Charcoal can be a bit pricey but I found a place that sells it for cheaper and it really it of the same quality as the more expensive stuff. If you want to know where I order my charcoal pm me.

    We use the charcoal cupsules a lot, and it really does help! When we start feeling gassy, or queasy or something, we take the charcoal capsules. It's amazing what charcoal can do!

    We've never used this mix, but maybe I should try it. I'm pming you Minthia.

    Thanks ladies! I am feeling better today.....fever is down, aches aren't as bad.....mostly dehydrated still I think. Feel like I just wasted three whole days.
