There was a story that my hubby heard on the radio. I don't know if it was local or not. It seems that a mom was nursing in a public place and causing quite a stir. The problem was, she was nursing a 20-30 year old man. Seems the law in that state made it impossible to arrest them because she was providing "nourishment" CRAZY
By the way I have NOTHING against someone nursing in public. My hubby did for a while. With our first one, he made me go to another room everytime we were at his parents house because he didn't want his brothers to see that (they are all in their 20's) With the second, I told him to get over it. I use a blanket for crying out loud! I felt like I had been banished!
Your a riot Jennifer I actually hide my personal items in the shopping carts under other stuff hahaha habit I guess from the old days. As for the bras and stuff my 14yr daughter and I see those and wince....PAIN with those underwires and other gadgets hahaha
I went through three different electrical breast pumps and none of them seemed better then the other, however they where better then the one I had to pump by hand. I couldn't stand that one. One of them my friend gave me because she wasn't producing as much milk either when she pumped so she decided to stop. It was expensive but I really didn't see a difference from one electrical pump to the other. The only difference, if any, was comfort and fit. At a nursing class that I took at Kaiser when I was pregnant, the nurse said that some women's bodies are like that of a baby. Some babies want the breast over a bottle and some women's bodies produce far better when a baby is latched on then when a pump is used. Patty
I never had any luck with a pump either. Tried the hospital grade one and a manual, never got more than a few drops. But when ds would eat he'd look up at me with milk pouring down his chin. Weird, huh?
