Well so far we're on "schedule'...class work begins in 10 mins...I'm SO nervous! I feel like it's the first day of school FOR ME at a new school! lol. I finally printed out a schedule for each of their binders...just so they can see what our day looks like. The times are adjustable...as we move more fluidly they can move as they see fit...but for now..this is to help us stay moving forward.
Well..we made it!! YAYNESS!! I've scaled our schedule waaaay down from my initial over achieving goals..lol. I figure we'll get through it when we get through it..we have a full 12 months to get through the program (we are using CLASS) and next year..we'll start earlier..because we won't have the delay of waiting for public school to be over :roll: They didn't like all the "reading" but I think that's because they did very little of it in PS...they did a ton of worksheets..and they read for point to reach "reading goals"...so this is going to take some getting used to. Luckily my oldest two enjoy reading..and my baby retains information read to her. She's a solid reader..but she's the baby...they tend to goof off whenever you turn your back..or day dream..or whatever babies do to keep the entertain the others (I'm a first born so I can't relate..lol) I'm pretty proud of my scheduling. I'll have to post pics from my phone. They give you basic guidelines like " this is a 36 week course..11 pages need to be done every 6 days"..and you have to figure it out...add to that that i'm doing some sort of funky block scheduling that I've completely made up..lol....it nothing short of a miracle that a plan to get through it all! lol
