I will be able to get still pics of internet (don't have broadband, so don't want to be downloading shows to watch).
We have satellite TV, but none of the providers are showing the Olympics.
Did hear a rumour that Al Jazeera may show bits, but not in English..doh..

My sister is off to China in 2 weeks to watch the Olympics, so will rely on her to send some great pics through.

We can keep up to date on medal tallies etc via news online, (unsure how much will be in the papers here)

sgilli, it is on free tv here, all the time. If you have a video player I would be happy to record some and send it to you, if you want. Let me know.

Thank you for the offer...but guess what ??
Just watching TV with the kids, and there was an ad on, showing the countdown to the Olympics...!!

Sure it will be on the Arabic sports channel..but at least we can see it!
I will keep updated by checking the Melbourne herald Sun, online each day too.

Glad to see, we will be able to SEE it though !
    *doing the happy dance* :)

WE did our introduction to the Olympics today... the kids are TOTALLY into it, and can't wait! yea!

There is a book for the younger set (3rd grade and under) that is FABULOUS!!!...

Here it is, if your library can get it I HIGHLY recommend it....
