on Thursday 8/23. DS has freshman orientation tomorrow and is a nervous wreck. I am excited (and nervous) for him but sad for me. I am sure I will do some serious crying when I put him on the bus Thursday morning. I loved having him home these past five years. But, I do hope that he loves high school and it goes well for him.
My oldest is in PS, it's strange to have one there and the rest home, but for our family, it is what is needed. He actually likes going to school... hopefully this year he actually shows his teachers he likes being there, he hates the busy work and even when he does it, he refuses to turn in homework. Your son will do fine (and so will mom )
