I found this to use for timing math drills, it is very cool and always there (unlike my hand-held stopwatch that gets toted off and lost on a regular basis!). In case anyone else is interested: http://www.shodor.org/interactivate...0_09&browser=MSIE&vendor=Sun_Microsystems_Inc.
I found this one last year when looking for a stopwatch application for my son's science fair project. www2.neweb.ne.jp/wd/morimoto/en/mwatch/ It was made for timing swim teams and tracks up to 10 events simultaneously (start times do NOT have to match up). You can even export the data so you can import it into a spreadsheet for building graphs for reports. This was great for us as we were running multiple trials concurrently. It also runs locally, so you do not need an Internet connection to use it. I just plopped my laptop right on the kitchen counter with all the jars of sludge and watched it go. And best of all? It's FREE.
