I am looking for opinions on Trail Guide to Learning curriculum and also Learning Adventures. I would really like something that will make it easier to stay on track with multiple levels next year. We've kind of flown by the seat of our pants this year, and we have achieved a lot, but it's been rather stressful too. We all really enjoy reading and hands on type of learning, so I think that either of these will be good. Just curious if anyone has used them and what they thought
I tried Learning Adventures at the first of this year (4th). We were not happy with it and switched within about 4 weeks. It seemed that a bit of the writing skills they expected were far above 4th grade level. And my son just didn't really like all the hands-on activities. He actually enjoys a workbook format better! So, I don't really have a good thorough opinion, but wanted to at least let you know our experience with it.
