I guess this is going to be the kid that gives me the most gray hair. Bobby called earlier this week and said he wanted to talk. He had been talking to the Army Recruiter and is planning on joining the Army Reserves. He wanted me to send his diploma and birth certificate. He still wants to finish his time at Job Corps and the Army guy told him they can work all that out. I am in shock over the whole thing right now. I can't seem to wrap my mind around it all. Please pray that he asks all the right questions and is sure about this before he signs any papers. Please pray that he stays safe. Life hasn't been easy for this one. He has made some pretty bad choices and we have had to help straighten them out, but this time we won't be able to fix it if he changes his mind. I feel like he is always looking for somewhere to fit in. He was so much older than the others when we adopted him and even though we had known him for a long time, it has always been harder for him. He wants to be a man now, but I am not sure he ever got to be a little boy. I appreciate your prayers for our son. I told him we will support his decision and that we are proud of him. Now we just have to wait and see what he wants to do. Beth
Bobby sent Crystal a message a little while ago and he got a job he had been wanting at Job Corps working at a plant that is being built. They do this for the people who are in Job Corps and they get hands on experience this way. He is very excited and will be making some extra while this lasts. He didn't say anything about the Army Reserves.
Oh Beth, I'm praying. Glad to hear he got the job that he wanted @ job corp. Maybe things are starting to turn around for him. I will continue praying for you both. Thanks for the update. LR
