One of my dd's assignments today was to write a simile off a prompt word. For the fun of it I decided to do it to and then we compared the answers we came up with. This one really made me laugh! Joyce - Peace is like a glass of ice cold water on a hot summer day. Mine - Peace is like a warm blanket on a cold winter day. When she read hers to me I started laughing so hard I couldn't read her mine and she is sitting there wondering what was so funny.
Jennifer, I agree with both of you, but you know how much I hate the cold weather so mine would have been like yours.
That is too funny Jennifer. And it is great that the two of you are in this type of sync even when you are opposites...lol!
hey can we post our peace is like? Cause I just thought of one reading your post! Peace is like... the ocean because it comes in, and even whe it goes out to sea it always comes back...
Peace is like a cedar, season change, the elements unleach their fury, shelter is sought in its branchs . It hold firm with deep ancent roots becoming more steadfast with each passing year.
