Just wanted you all to pray and think of us on Monday Feb. 14, 2005 my ten year old dd is going in for heart test. They found out she had long Q T'S What is means if any of you don't understand it's where kids play in sport and they just fall down and have a cardic arrest. It's kind of scary, the worst that could happen is my dd willn't be able to play in any sports ever. She is really upset about it right now as she is very active child and was in to everyting until we had to pull her out and wait till they ran more test. Thanks alot everyone. :lol:
A story like this was on the news not long ago. A teenager was playing a sport and suddenly fell over. Her coach revived her. It ends up she had a heart condition no one knew about. Praying here.
Just wanted to let you all know she does have what they call Long OT Syndrome. She is just borderline and not a whole lot they can do. We have to watch what kinds of meds. we put her on and when she is playing and she notice her heart racing or anything she needs to sit out and rest. She is right now a 24 hour heart monitor they will not release her to do any sports yet they want to check it out more and see how this goes first. Had big sister check and she was ok. Then they checked me and I have it too. But we both are so boderline there's not much they can do, we just have to watch what we do and when we are tired need to rest for awhile. I kind of knew I had something like this because my heart will beat fast, when I took some kinds of meds. or when I did alot of exericse but I would just stop the meds. and exercise. They say it runs in the family. Thanks alot for all the wonderful prayers. We appericate them. Thanks again you all are wonderful bunch of ladies in here. Don't know what I would do without you all. :lol:
