I hope it doenst sound silly asking to pray for my little dog ladies! But I have seen many times on here how faithful and prayerful all of you are and I know it makes a difference! Our little dog "Tootsie" is sick. I have no idea what is wrong, and I dont have money to go to a vet. Dd is beside herself with worry as am I. Tootsie is the absolute sweetest dog you every could imagine! I am terrified to take her to the vet bc it is always a fortune and always bad news. Dd and I prayed for Toots this morning, but dd is unconsolable. Please pray ladies that there is nothing seriously wrong with her and she is back to her old self asap! Thank you all and God Bless!!

Shawna i am praying! It is not silly we lost our little westie twiggy 2 days after Christmas and i will never get over missing her, so i understand. If you could let me know what is wrong i will try to help with what i know...The first thing i always tried was putting her on a rice and scrambled egg diet no fats.

I am so sorry. Perhaps if you explain the situation to the vet he would take payments.

What kind of symptoms is your pup having?

    Praying.

Thanks for all the prayers ladies! Today Toots ate 2 bowls of scrambled eggs and slept (which napping is her best "trick" lol). She is seeming to perk up a little. I took her out on her leash and she seemed like her old self. I called the vet, because the thought "maybe she has a cold", popped n my head, and so I called and asked and they did say that doggies do get colds like humans and the symptoms are kinda the same. So I am hoping and praying that this is the case~I have even blessed her with Holy Water!! Dd and I prayed for her this morning also and so please keep the prayers coming! This is so nerve wracking! She is such a part of our family~she is like a "sister" to dd!! Thanks again!

It's not silly at all to ask for prayer for a beloved pet. God commands us to take care of His animals...my sister did an in-depth study on what the Bible has to say about animals, and it was fascinating. I believe that God is concerned about all of His living creatures.

I'll keep your dog in my prayers, and I hope the poor thing continues perking up.

Hope She's feeling better. It's not a silly prayer request at all! We just had a really bad scare with out little dog the other day as well. But he is doing ok now. We've had him so long that I couldn't imagine not having him around anymore. I'll keep your baby in my prayers.

God is so Good! Today Toots is back to her self! She is eating well, has did her "business" (lol). She is back to following us around the house and fetching her chew bone. She was even waiting for the kiddos to drop something at lunch (VERY normal for her! She is such a piggy! lol!) Now is her nap time and she is staring me down to go sit in the recliner so she can take her nap! Lol! That is our "thing" about this time of day. I was thinking however, that she is on the thin side and mil said maybe she (Toots~not mil!! LOL!) worms. Have any of yall used a dewormer from the store~I have looked at them but chickened out getting some for her. Thanks so much for all of yall prayers and support!! I just cant thank yall enough!! God Bless all of you!
    Take care,
    Shawna

Sending thanks to God for her speedy recovery!
I have never used a dewormer, and personally would not without talking to the vet again first.
