Things are pretty bad right now. I could use some prayers. I have never been this down in my life. I am dealing with so much and I know I have God's help, but I feel defeated right now. No matter how I try to look up. I feel like I am getting beat down:cry:.

Read my Bible verse at the bottom! Don't let the ol' devil get you down or talk you into feeling defeated! You're NOT defeated! Jesus defeated everything when he died on the cross! It's all covered for you, so you can claim victory to rise up out of that pit you've fallen into. satan keeps pushing you back in there,, but God is stronger!!! Hold your hand up and let him pull you out! Hang on tight! Pray for victory every few minutes if you have to!

I am praying for you right now!!!

    I will pray for you!

    Victory is found in Jesus!
Keep praying and reading the Bible.

Submit to God and the devil will flee away! The devil will try to come back time and time again telling you that God's way isn't working. He may get you to think like this: I may have felt better but nope that feeling isn't going to stay. Don't believe him for a moment!!! He is the Father of lies! He attacked Jesus verbally three times while Jesus was weary from his fast.
Use God's Word to defeat him.
Stand Fast and we will hold you up in prayer!!!!!!!

    (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))

Melanee, do mind me asking if it's urinary issues? If I remember right, you suffer with that. I know the burden that is. Remember, I'm in the same boat. I hope you don't think I'm being pushy by asking..

Thank you for your prayers and verses. I have no one I can talk to other than God here. God is enough, but right now I feel so very down. I have never felt this depressed in my life. I cry at the drop of a hat and I am having thoughts I have never experienced before. Becky you are right. It does have some to do with that. I just found out my bladder is not working right (In December I will have dealt with this over a year). I just lost my Mother in Law who I took care of and deeply loved. I have a daughter with JRA who is in terrible pain constantly. I feel I am falling apart. I know why all this is happening. When I was younger and away from God, I took the wide road and I harmed my body. I did not realize what I was doing until it was too late. God brought me back to Him through trials that I had to face. He forgave me, but the damage to my body had already been done. I deserve to pay for all the things I did, but my family seems to be suffering because of those things. I feel so bad and just don't want to keep putting them through surgeries and worry ..... I am a child of God and thought if I stayed close to Him, He would forgive me and everything would be ok.

Sorry to bother you all with this. I am not sure I even made sense.
    Thanks again for your prayers,
    Melanee

Oh yes, Melanee, I agree with Amy! God is NOT punishing you for your wrong choices! And He HAS forgiven you! It is for those very things that satan is picking on you! He wants you to believe that you are being punished and that you were and are a bad person that caused problems then and is causing problems now! He knows that will get to you! DON'T LET HIM WIN with those thoughts!

God is so much stronger! Use these trials as a way to get closer to God! Jesus went through sooo much to protect us from satan and his evil ways! Trust and believe that God loves you so much!!! There is a song I heard where the person says they were coming to God and saying they were sorry for their sins, and kept crying and begging God to forgive them. They kept bringing up how they had sinned. Then they heard God answer, "What sins?" I love that, because it shows how God follows through with what He says in the Bible---that your sins have been thrown into the depths of the sea, and He doesn't see them. He sees a child of God, whom He loves dearly!

I will certainly continue to pray for you Hon!!!

Thank you ladies. You're right, I am letting the devil win and I should be leaning on God instead of being defeated. It has just been so hard lately. I am working with some youth and I know the devil doesn't like for youth to work for the Lord. You are probably right I am under attack. Thanks for your help and prayers!!! Please continue to pray. My health isn't so great right now and I have a lot of responsibilities.

    blessings,
    Melanee

I second all of what Deena says.

I am so sorry to hear of your health problems and that your dd is still in so much pain. My heart breaks for you. I will pray. I can't imagine how hard it must be but I do know that clinging to God is what you need to do. I will pray for you!

Oh, Melanee. You're suffering so long. I was diagnosed in '05, but had problems way before then, just didn't realize it. It's true Satan wants you to think God is punishing you. Try hard to not think like that. I'll be praying. You can pm me if you ever want to talk.

I do feel better than I did. Being able to talk about it did help some. I appreciate all of you and your friendship. Maybe one day things will get better and I will be able to look back and see how God was working even when I did not realize it.

Becky, I am going to pm you when I have a chance. To many young eyes awake right now. Thank you.

    Blessings,
    Melanee

Jesus Christ paid for your sins on the cross. God is not punishing you. If you have repented and asked for forgiveness, then your sins are forgiven. To believe that God is punishing you at that point would be like saying the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross was not quite good enough. Guilt after being forgiven does not come from God, but rather from an accuser and a liar.

God does allow us to endure some of the natural consequences of our behaviour, and sometimes we are subjected to tests that come as a result of others actions. This is not the same as being punished.

You will not be tested beyond what you can take. I will pray for you to recieve strength, comfort and wisdom as you go through these trials.

There is a picture in the bible of testing where it is desribed as being like when silver ( or other precious metal?) is melted and the junk is skimmed off the top then the worksmith can see his reflection once it is removed. If you can endure this trial, God and others will see Him in you.

You're right vantage. that is what i was trying to say. I feel like i am going through this because of the decisions I made . I know I have been forgiven, but i have to endure the "natural consequences of those actions". Whatever the reason, I am having a very hard time coping with it all. i appreciate your honesty.

    Blessings,
    Melanee

Melanee, when I started researching my diagnosis-urethritis- it came up as being the result of STDs. I knew that was impossible, because 1988 was the last time I was with someone other than my spouse. I still don't know where my problem came from. Try as hard as you can- and I know it's impossible- to not let this consume your mind like it does. I know it fills your every thought, though. I wish I could do more for you, to ease your suffering.
