Ok ladies I know I haven't been active on here lately but life has just been so busy with both kids home now!
Anyway I have several other homeschooling friends that listen to educational CDs that go with their curriculum or just from the library etc...in the car while they are in route. My problem is I just have the factory radio in my car and therefore I have no CD/cassette player. I do however have a Zune that I plug into the cigarette lighter and listen to music for the kids!
I was thinking there are bound to be some educational podcasts out there somewhere...either books being read or lessons being taught!
Do any of you smart women know of any sites I can download some? I did a google search but just know nothing about any of them would hate to get some duds!!

Thanks in advance for any help!!

I have downloaded Jonathon Park CD's onto mine and had the kids listen with me in the car - they are available through Behemouth.com <sp? sorry I'm a little out of it at the moment>

I've also gotten books and such off of librivox.org

I haven't found any podcasts besides old time radio stuff that they have enjoyed. But my son LOVES 5 minute mysteries - he got them all!!!

Also - I talked with my local library and it is ok for me to put stuff on my MP3 player (or theirs) like books on CD I get from the library - just have to delete it when I return the CD's or renew. So I picked up Adventures in Odyssey on CD and I hope they like those as well.

I had found a site which made the iPod educational with some downloads - I think they even had video - but I can't find it :(

You might check here for some help on educational podcasts.

We just get audiobooks on CD, convert them to mp3's when we rip them, and download them onto the kids' mp3 players.
