Ben has been found! His mother turned herself in to police this afternoon and he is safe! Because of her allegations, he is currently in emergency foster care. The county he's in didn't have knowledge of the case history, so there is a hearing scheduled for tomorrow. We are praying that they will at the very least release Ben to my MIL (his great aunt) if he isn't allowed to return home yet-because Ben's mom has made accusations of abuse, an investigation must be completed before he can be returned to his dad. We know there is still a long road once all the facts come in and she faces her charges, but BEN IS SAFE! Thank you Jesus! Thank you everyone for your prayers and kind words. Please remember Ben whenever you see a post for a missing child on facebook or a poster in a store window-those are real kids with real families who love them. Take a minute to look at their faces because you never know when you could be the one to help bring them home!
Just got off the phone with my SIL-court went well and Ben's daddy is picking him up from DHS right now! Couldn't be happier right now!
