I'm washing windows, mini blinds & window treatments today. :cry:

 

I feel for you. That is actually a task I need to get done sometime very soon....ugh.

I just washed my windows this past week. But I haven't cleaned the blinds since earlier this year. They really need a good cleaning.

 

Geeze Louise, what a terrible job! We have 26 windows in this house (if I counted correctly) and ALL the miniblinds need washing. Mine are aluminum Levelors and they are DIRTY so I've been doing the painstaking task of vacuuming them while they're hanging, then washing them in the tub with lukewarm water, Dawn, & white vinegar. I carefully open them and then rinse them with the shower. What fun. NOT! :wink:

I've completed our living room, YEAH!... which means I have 21 windows to go. :| But, I'm being realistic and not trying to do it all today. I'm going to do a few each day for as long as it takes. I did, however, get all the window treatments washed, but I won't hang them back up until I've cleaned the blinds. Oh, almost forgot... vacuuming up all the fly corpses from the window sills has been the most fun of all! <gag!> :lol:

 

you mean your SUPPOSE to clean them?????

Gosh, I just thought you change your color sceme from white to off-white after a few years.

 

Ha! I'd have to change my color scheme from white to dingy brown if I didn't clean them. :lol:

 

I hate that job. Right now I keep my mini blinds up because they are so nasty!
