Hi everyone I don't usually ask for prayer but the friday before christmas i had a major car accident. I had taken my friend Sabrina and her bf to celebrate that they just found out they were prego and just got engaged. I was coming home and a group of deer were in the middle of the road and instinct took over. I slammed on my brakes and my van swerved to the left towards the river I corrected in hopes of straightening it out but it went right towards the bank and hit the bank and flipped onto its top. I was only 4 miles from home where this happened. I was buckled in the other 2 weren't. Luckily injuries were very minor in my opinion. I got a bad case of whiplash, sabrina just got bumps and bruises, and her bf dislocated his shoulder. The hospital didn't put his shoulder back because they said it had been too long of a time period so his shoulder is still seperated this week and has to go in on it's own. Sabrina is still prego. Like I said we were very lucky. Now my van isn't so lucky so we are down to 1 vehicle We only had liability on my van so my injuries aren't covered at all. That's another bill or 2 for us to have to pay. Hubby has to find the time to take the engine from my van and swap it into his pick up so he'll have a vehicle to go back and forth to work. My prayer is for my friends to heal quickly and that hubby can get his pickup done soon. Thank you everyone
That is terrible, I am so sorry. Thank God everyone only suffered minor injuries. Did you check with your insurance company to see if you have any type of medical coverage (payments) on your policy? Our company would pay for medicals if there was only liability but not pay for the vehicle. Worth a call if you haven't already asked. Praying for things to get better for you.
wow sure glad no was hurt bad, yes check with your insurance agent they might pay for that part that would help some. take care and hope everyone is feeling well soon.
Sorry Vera! Glad everyone was pretty much okay! Whiplash stinks though, I've had that before (a drunk guy going at least 70 mph ran into our stopped car!), and it HURTS! I hope everyone is feeling better soon! I'll pray for you!

Glad to hear that every one is safe. I know you must still be in pain though. Sorry to hear this all happened right before Christmas.
