I know I'm kind of quiet on here now but please pray for DH and his family. His grandpa passed away last night and they were very close. He couldn't sleep last night but just wanted to be alone to think and process everything. He hasn't decided if he will go into work tonight or not. He was at work last night when he got the call. Pray for him and his whole family, especially his grandma as well. I feel totally helpless in how to help him right now other than just offering support to him. His grandpa lived a lot longer than the drs ever expected him to. He had a pacemaker in and for several months that was the only thing keeping his heart going. They gave him a few days to live about a month ago. Even though everyone knew it was going to happen it is still hard. He also lost his cousin this year to cystic fibrosis. It was almost 5yrs to the day from when his dad died as well. Anyway keep them all in your prayers please.

Praying.... sometimes all you can do is just "be there" for them

Praying. It's so hard. Praying for God to give you away to be the comfort he needs at this time.
