My aunt has lymphoma and is having a stem cell transplant. She goes in on Tuesday. It will be a several month process with the biggest danger being catching something while her immune system is compromised. Please send prayers!
Hi, I live in Rockford IL btw.. my dad had a stem cell transplant about 5 years ago -he has multiple myeloma -he had it at Northwestern Memorial in Chicago. It was a tough procedure and required many trips back and forth to Chicago, but he is now 99.99% cancer free. It really did save his life. I hope all goes well for your aunt. Jane
