Those who know or remember Monkey Mamma on here.

She is been sick for awhile and not getting better.

Well they found out what is wrong the other day and she text me and wanted me to let you all know.

They are going to have another baby... They all are excited and happy. She think she is a little over 2 months along.

So, everyone keep her in thoughts, prayers, throw pixie dust her way. She is looking for a doctor or midwife. They just moved there and she hadn't found a doctor yet.

I been helping her pick out names::::: Deena Kristine Jackie is one. But, I have had try that with others on here and it never worked. Maybe this time it will.

I was worried when you mentioned she had been sick for awhile, I thought this story was taking a turn towards the negative. So glad to hear it is sick for a good reason.

    Hi everyone!

I know I have been gone a looooong time but I want to thank my sweet friend Kris for this prayer request and the rest of you for the kind congratulations. :)

This pregnancy came as quite the surprise but despite the initial shock we are all very happy and excited, especially my two girls. As far as I know the baby is due sometime in September. I have a ultrasound scheduled for Wednesday and will know more then. I also have an appointment with a midwife on Monday and have a whole list of doctors names people have recommended. My husband has insurance but I don't so at this point I'm not sure which route we are going to go. I am staying in prayer over this as I know this pregnancy was not my plan and not my timing, it is totally God's plan and in His time and His blessing. I fully intend to remain in His will about this and follow whatever path He makes for me because I have faith that if he blessed us with this baby he will bless us with the right way to pay for everything. Yesterday I was blessed when I received a phone call offering me a free ultrasound!

I have been very sick the past three weeks and I have every uncomfortable pregnancy symptom there is. If you wouldn't mind continued prayer for this I would very much appreciate it. I will keep you all posted and will hopefully be coming back and joining in on my conversations soon.

    Thank you all!:D

    Pregnancy Update

Good morning everyone! I thought I would stop in a give an update.

Monday I had a free consultation with the midwife in our area. Turns out she lives less than ten minutes from my house. She is very nice and spent over an hour talking with me. I would love to have a homebirth but right now I am waiting to see what God provides in the way of finances.

I am not sure if I qualify for Medicaid assistance based on my husband's income but I will be finding out hopefully next week. If I do not qualify for assistance then we will most certainly be having a homebirth with this lovely midwife as her total cost is $2800. Again not sure where that is going to come from but I am letting God lead. If I do qualify for assistance I will be making an appointment with a doctor in the next town, a doctor that this midwife recommeded. The doctor is a female who is a big advocate of natural child birth and what the mother wants, not what the hospital feels like doing.

Yesterday I was blessed with a free ultrasound! My dd9 was able to come with me (dd15 had to go to dance officer practice). I found out that I am 9 weeks along and my due date is September 23rd. We were able to hear the heartbeat (which dd9 thought was the coolest thing ever) and the baby even waved at us! It was so awesome! :)

I am feeling so much better lately - not totally exhausted and sick all the time. HUGE relief! Now if I could just get some sleep at night I'd be doing great.

I spoke with one of my very very best friends ever this morning. He lives in Minnesota and has two little girls of his own. Knowing that I have absolutely nothing at all for this baby he offered for he and his wife to ship me their crib and high chair! He wouldn't even let me pay for shipping. He said they would look around and box up anything else baby related and send that to me as well and whatever I don't want I should donate. Another blessing!

I am getting mixed reactions from people but I am just letting that roll off my back. Oh don't get me wrong everyone says "congratulations" but it is the way they say it. Most people say "Oh! My! ......... Well.......uhm...Congratulations?" like they are questioning whether it is a happy thing. And I get it.........I guess.........I have a 15 yr old, most people don't space their kids out like mine are, and they think I am too old to start over I guess. BTW I just turned 36. And most of these are the same types of people who wonder how on earth I can spend all day with my dd9 homeschooling and the same people who hate Christmas break because they have their own children around them for two weeks.
A handfull of people are genuinley happy, thrilled actually! And those are the people I surround myself with anyway. Oh and the people at the homeschool group. I told them yesterday and they all are excited, but then again most of them have at leat 5 or more kids so my soon to be 3 isn't considered a large family.

Ok well sorry this update is long. I am just getting really excited now that the initial shock has worn off. I am ready to go baby shopping!
