I found this the other day when i was looking for something else, I don't have pre schoolers anymore but thought you might want to look at it to get ideas of what another person did. http://www.scribd.com/doc/19244034/4-Yo-Preschool-Year-Plan
I have a SLEW of prek-k lesson plan ideas on my familyd website link below. Take a look and have some fun!
I used AbcTeach a lot for preschool and preK they have themes and we went to the library using the subjects they had. We taught about the weather, the alphebet, learning to write the capital letters in order .. learnin to write their names properly. We did a section on colors, mixing them as well to a certain degree you know like Yellow and Blue makes Green. Counting to twenty. and back from 10.. Lots of songs and fingerplays... We changed things every fiftenn to twenty minutes and did a lot of hands on stuff too to build up thier fine motor skills. Take a walk in the fall gather leaves , acorns and what not. Then do a study on fall leaves.. different colors, evergreens etc. Do colages and finger paint with the approrpiate colors... Make a tree of hand prints in the colors of fall.. then a christmas tree for that season of sorts.. Study each holiday of the month as a theme, printables coloring practice tracing dot to dots letters stand for such and such, B is for B A L L etc. I have also done around the world with the abcs, well around the room actually you put up a picture a week everythign theme related to that letter... B is for Ball, Brown, Big, Bats, etc,
I've been using starfall.com with my ds for the past few weeks and http://www.dltk-teach.com/ we've been working on his numbers 1-10 and the letter A, until he master's them then we'll move on and then review. We're working on learning how to write the letter A as well. We did the numbers caterpillar and have it cut out and hanging on a wall where he hangs his projects and shows everyone when they come to our house. I found this this week, but I've not had the chance to explore the site as much as I'd like to. http://truevineherbs.wordpress.com/2009/07/26/preschool-week-1-lesson-plans/
