Do any of you ever use the precooked, grilled chicken breast strips you can buy in the store? I found some at a good price at Aldi and was looking for some ways to use it. First thing that comes to mind is on salad...Any other ideas?

I have used them in my reciepe for red curry and chicken over rice. It cuts the time it takes to make dinner in half. You could use them anywhere you would need chicken.

We use them in wraps..tortilla, ranch dressing and salad.

Chicken salad..like as in tuna salad.

I throw in pasta salad too.

Chicken tortilla soup ( just shred them and add in at last 20 mins of cooking)

Chicken burritos ( rice, beans, cheese, sour cream and shredded chicken)

Chicken sandwich ( chicken, cheese ,tomato slices, red onion, bread..butter the bread and grill in pan like grilled cheese sandwiches)

They can really be used in any recipe that calls for chicken, just modify the recipe cooking time since the chicken is already cooked.

You can also use them in fried rice. My kids have taken to eating left-over cold chicken chopped up with rice and veggies in a tortilla with Ranch dressing.

I use it to make chicken pitas, fry some green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and once the vegetables are tender, throw in the chicken, just to warm it up, and pour in some BBQ sauce, stuff into pitas. Quick, easy and yummy!

First of all "WOOT" for Aldi, even though we have to drive an hour round trip to get there, we still spend alot less than we would shopping at Wal Mart!

I would definately say over rice w/ some sauteed bell pepper. Yum And definately in tortillas with a little ranch on them would be fantastic!
