Hey fellow homeschoolers (both students and parents), I'm a proud homeschool grad who is currently working at a digital agency, and I do print design and apparel design on the side. I had the idea of making some awesome, relevant, non-partisan t-shirts for homeschoolers to wear to display our pride and to help destroy the common stereotype of homeschoolers as awkward, socially-inept, nerdy kids.

Style-wise: I take great pride in my work and these would be top-quality designs, good quality printing and printed on soft, quality tees. I specialize in typographic illustration. The style would be similar to these internationally respected designers or great t-shirt companies: Jon Contino, Sevenly, Dana Tanamachi, Declaration Co., among others. You'll have to google them since I can't post links yet (new member).

Would there be any interest in this? Homeschoolers deserve respect and a way to express our freedom, and break free from the stereotype. I would probably do a Kickstarter or a IndieGoGo campaign first because I don't have the cash to drop on something like this out of pocket. This means you'd pledge a certain amount, basically pre-ordering a t-shirt or multiple t-shirts, and if the project is funded then I make the shirts and you get them. If it doesn't reach the funding goal, the shirts are not made and the money you pledged is not taken from your account.

Also, any ideas for a quote to do for the designs? I was thinking "Freedom in Education" would be a good one, since homeschooling is at its core an out-of-the-box, outside-the-system, freedom-loving enterprise. Thanks for reading!
