Hey I just got a new HP printer/scanner all in one deal. I was playing around with it and found it will print lined paper (college or wide), children's paper (with the dotted line in the middle) or graph paper. It was so cool. So now I know I will never run out since I can just print one off the printer. It is not economical to get all my paper this way but if I need it I can do it. Any one else's printer able to do fun things like that?

How did you find that out. I have a HP - copier, printer, fax and scanner. I don't know if mine will print the lined paper or not. I must check that out.

On the front of the printer it has a set up button. I pushed that and the 1st thing on the list was printable school papers. It will even do music paper (which I do not need since we are not musical) and a maze.

I have a hp photosmart c5280. I got it at Sam's Club for around $89. I really love it. I used to have a seperate scanner so now I have all this room on my desk (I can use it like a desk now!).

That is a different printer but since it is one of the newer ones I bet it has that feature. I just have the two ink cartridges instead of the seperate color cartridges.

Just as a random side note, there are a couple sites I've found that will let you print kids lined paper and graph paper. I don't remember the graph paper site, but the lined paper is on DLKT's site. (You can also print customized tracers on DLKT, which is how we use our scripture-of-the-week for handwriting practice for little ones.)

This is straight from the machine, no computer needed. That is what surprised me that the printer has this stuff right on it. The printer also has a photo copy feature so I can always make copies of sheets with out the computer too. I knew about sites that you can find stuff like that on but not right on the printer itself.
