Just curious--I was at the little thrift store downtown a couple days ago and found a Prentice Hall Literature, World History and Earth Science book. All three for 1.55. :p

Anyway, I am wondering if anyone knows if a teachers guide would be available for something like that. The are from the late 90's, and I have looked around but didnt see much. I think they could be of use with or without teachers guides, but if I can find them it would be an added bonus.

Thanks for the links. I just asked a friend who does daycare for a bunch of teachers, and she is going to see if they can look into it as well. The earth science book has a lot of skill sharpening lessons and experiments in it, so I could see that one being pretty easy to base lessons off of.

For as cheap as I got them, I figure if I only am able to use them as reference books, it was still worth the cost, lol.

Well the Lit and History teachers editions are both around 60 dollars. BUT, the Earth Science lab manual and teachers editions are both 99 cents. The teachers edition is out of stock, but I am going to see if I can call Monday and inquire about if/when it will be in stock. :)

I would just google the text title with "teacher edition." A lot of those show up on different used book sites and you might get lucky.
