This school year 2006-2007 is my daughters last year in school. This is my plan, when school is out, May 25th, I will then call the board and get the homeschool packet to file the intent to homeschool, so that by Aug. 2007-2008, they will have record and I don't have to confront anyone at the school about it. She will be in 3rd grade, but has a few LDs that the school refuses to help with.

lol you may find she doesn't have as many LD's as the school thinks. They wanted me to have my ds9 tested for ADD, ADHD, and get this. . .depression and mental instability. I brought him home, and his whole attitude has changed and he concentrates just fine.

The school didn't have her tested for LDs, I had her tested due to the fact that I noticed she was having certain problems, and the LDs that she has been diagnosed with (Auditory Processing Disorder) her father also has.

Then it is sad that the school couldn't "deal" with this. Your dd will be much happier homeschooling, I'll bet, and I'm sure you will be too.
