It is a writer contest for the little ones!

 

Thanks so much for pointing this out. My son is already talking about writing a story about a boy who brushes his teeth all day. LOL

 

I would read that!

 

I'm curious myself since all his stories seem to include ninjas and 'bad guys.'

 

Samantha won runner up last year. I'm not doing with the younger kids this year because it was like pulling teeth......... I made them do at least 2 drafts then I "typed" their words on paper for them with the page numbers and everything then they colored the pictures that went with the line on each page. we used card stock for the back and front and gold fasteners (prong that goes in hole and spreads out on the back)

her story was called "the sandwich that got away"....... none of our stories had ninja's one story had a castle and a dragon.........

I told my son about this and he is very excited.....unfortunately, his first thought for a story was about a farting ninja who has trouble sneaking up on the bad guys cuz they can smell him comming.....He is such a boy!
