I have been trying to shave down curriculum costs for next year and looking on the web for all the free resources I can find. I hope this is not a repeat, but I found this today. All in PDF files too! http://www.biblestudyplanet.com/studies/kids.aspx
I'm kind of new to this site too, so I can't say that I've seen it listed here before. I have used this site before and it IS really great! Good find and thanks for reminding me of it.
These look just like some I've seen elsewhere... Calvary Chapel. Only the ones at Calvary Chapel have two levels of work in the same section. Anyway, thanks! I'm looking for something for my little ones, pk and K level.
There's some good Y!Groups (Yahoo) that share Christian materials for religious education. I've had some pretty good luck if I needed something in a pinch or for searching files to find material. I also have 5 groups that deal with Christian file folder games. These have become really popular and are a great way to teach kids. There's New and Old Testament as well as many other Christian/religous topics. Everything is in the files and is created by the members. Just some ideas for you and places to look. As I said, I know I've had really good luck with other groups there!!
The Creative Kingdom Y!Groups They are The Creative Kingdom groups. I can't give you links because I'm still a newbie on the forum. However, I can give you their names. The NEW Creative Kingdom (New Testament), The OLD Creative Kingdom (Old Testament) and The OTHER Creative Kingdom (Bible, prayer, behavior, Fruit of the Spirt, holidays and much more). Those are all file folder game groups. Then there is the Creative Kingdom of Games & More which has various types of games like cards, dominos, memory and more on all the previous topics. Finally, there's a group called The Creative Kingdom for Learning which is for Christian homeschoolers or any type of Christian education. There's file folder games that use Christian themes to teach math, spelling, reading and so on. There's also worksheets, mini books, activities and more there. I think that about covers it. Once you find one group, the home page will have links to all the rest. Just say that I referred you and either I or the moderator will know to approve you. They're great groups and we're constantly making more games. We have lots of materials and games in the files section.
Thanks so much!!! I'll have to check it out more when I get a new printer and upgrade my pdf thingy(adobe?) thanks!!!
