Remembering Pearl Harbor

    Honoring those who lost their lives, were wounded or served 68 years ago on December 7, 1941. Say a prayer for survivors, their families, and our military in general who continue to put themselves in harm's way for all that we hold dear.

    The girls and I just talked about Pearl Harbor because I heard it mentioned on the news this morning. Funny how it takes on more meaning to me this year with our son in basic training for the Army. God Bless all our military... past, present and future and especially those in harms way today.

    I just read a book to my 5 yo about Pearl Harbor, and showed him some pictures in a book my dad let me borrow. He said to me "mama we should pray that the men who build the ships will make them so they can't sink anymore" What a sweet spirit my baby has.
