    We have HOP French (like you, got it at some crazy discount). It's *not* for developing fluency. It's for exposure to very basic vocabulary like colors & numbers. My kids were 2, 4 & 6 when we got it; the 2 & 4 yo's loved it, but the 6yo couldn't be bothered - I think it may have been too baby-ish for him.

    Oh Jackie, why didn't you tell me that last semester when I was doing my college spanish class!!!! :lol:

    So I tried Livemocha and it's good, but the free part runs out really quickly. Then you have to do a lot of work for other people to get points and unlock the next lesson. Or pay $12 per month. Might be worth the $12 though. Also you end up communicating with other people online, so kids should be watched closely.

    It seems like a great product though.
