I've never attended one, but a friend told me about it and she found some incredible deals on books for her homeschoolers (even made good Christmas gifts).

Once you go and fill out a card, you get on their mailing list. Then they send you a notification every time they come around to your town. And I've brought friends with me that are not in any of the above catogories.

Oh, I have been to one and it was great!
It's set up similar to a book fair (like they do at public schools)~
there was a whole big section of books that were only 10 cents each!
(this included teacher resource books, craft books, some computer software, and tons of reading books- some even hardback!)
Then, there was another section of greatly reduced books~
    all were either $1, $3, or $5.
I think I spent about $30 but I got a TON of books!

When I signed up as a registererd Homeschool and got my "Fast Cart Pass" (to avoid the registration at the door), I also got a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more.

Rats, the closest place is over an hour from where I live. By the time I pay for the gas to get there, all the savings would be eaten up!!! Sounds fun though!

I went to the one that came to our area in the spring. I got lots of great books and we have really been enjoying them this year. They really did have good prices. I think we spent half of what we would normally spend. :-D
