We have a dedicated room. However, my kids school all over the house! LOL I do like having the room b/c I have a central place for all of the supplies, and there's a computer down there. I also have a lot of book shelves down there. There's a TV down there too for them to watch DVD's or VHS's for school. It also gives them a place to play when they aren't schooling. I do like having it, although, as they grow I realize I'm going to need to change it around down there and make it more comfortable for them to do school down there.
