Ok, I have been doing a lot of research for next year lately. I am leaning towards putting together my own curriculum for Dashawn. I don't have a lot of money to homeschool this year and he goes through things so fast that I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that is suppose to be for a year and he finishes it in a few months. (I am thinking along the lines of science, geography, and history. He just eats this stuff up.) Anyway, I am thinking about purchasing the schoolexpress.com membership. I am wondering if anyone has used this much or not. If you have is it worth the 24.95 or not. If you have not used it and have any other website suggestions that are not that expensive? Oh yeah, Dashawn is going to be working at second and third grade levels. Thanks
I don't have a membership, but they send out a freebie every week in a news letter. It used to be a free site and then poof it was a pay thing... sucks really...lol, but I'm never so impressed with their stuff that I feel it's worth buying... but hey I'm all game for free things. I do have a membership to abcteach.com and also teacherfilebox.com, those two are totally worth their price! You do know that currclick.com has a freebie every week also and I think it's handsofachild.com has a freebie every quarter or maybe it's twice a year now. There is soooo much out there for free that you really don't have to spend a fortune! Look here on the spot for threads about homeschooling for free and you will find a TON, I know I have posted so much over the years that anyone could use it to homeschool for free other than ink paper and basic kids school supplies
