We have used products by them, include the Magic School bus Human Body and the set of 3 experiments kits (we have several of those). We try to do 1-2 hands on experiments each week, and this kits make it very easy.

I just did not know about all the links on the website! That is awesome!

Did you use any other science books with it as well, or did you just use the experiments? Did your kids enjoy them?

We usually have reading as well - I don't use a set curriculum. I might use books from scholastic, encyclopedia CD roms, DK books, etc. Whatever seems to work for what we are studying. Then I also have them do worksheets or notebooking as well, and we book their lab sheets in their notebooks.

Thanks for sharing the website, I will definitely check it out. The experiments sound fun and simple.

I like them because they come with just about everything you need. For our more recent experiment (how the digestive system works -- yuck) we only needed vinegar, water and some crackers. I hate when you get a "kit" but you still need to hit the store because most of the stuff is not included in that "kit."

Here's another web site I found superchargedscience.com. Homeschoolers can try it out for $1 for a month. I might give it a try.

We used to get the monthly shipments. They have 4-5 activities per kit, and it would be easy to just print off a few worksheets or add some reading to make it a full lesson.

I think the Noeo Science curriculum uses the Young Scientist kits with other books... it does the work for you. :)

While I *love* Noeo Science, the Young Scientists kits they included rarely worked. They were disappointing.
