Sound like our tree! We live in a small place. Someone gave us a lovely 7-foot tree, so it takes up a large part of our living room. It's very pretty though! The boys have made several new ornaments to put on it. :)

The other night I talked to the boys about why we put a star on top, why we choose an evergreen tree, etc. Our ds7 had made a little Baby Jesus in Sunday School a few weeks ago. After talking about the Christmas story and how the shepherds followed the star to find Jesus, ds7 decided we should put his Baby Jesus on the tree as well. Then, ds4 came up with the idea of putting it way up on top, just under the star (so the shepherds could find him).

It's such a wonderful experience sharing the love of our Saviour with our children. It fills my heart with joy.

we used to have a nice blown glass pickle ornament, but it broke, we have never replaced it.

I just got done wrapping presents with the kids, they wrapped gifts from them to each sybling and Daddy. (Daddy gets to sit and do the same for my gift). I was then wrapping some pants I got for DH, and looked closer at the tag, I got the wrong size, so I need to get back over to the store, I want to return them and get something else on the list anyway. All the kids are starting to come down with colds (me to) I must say I don't remember a Christmas where at least one of the kids are sick (usually Sammie)....... Thats a Christmas tradition I don't want any more!

Yeah, ABall, take that tradition and throw it away, you can come up with a better tradition than that!

Better take those pants back soon! Our Mall area is already CRAZY---sooooo many people and so few parking places!
