I joined back in August, but went MIA for the next few months. I just started coming back this week. I thought I remembered that your signature would not show up until you had so many post, just like the avatar. But I decided to go ahead and add the signature. Then my next post included the signature. I do not want to be banned for including the signature and I cannot find the post regarding how many post are necessary before the signature is allowed. Please tell me so I will know when I should re-add the signature. Thanks
You could PM (private message)the moderator, ABall, if you really want to double check quickly. Or Amy will probably see this at some point in the next day or two (but PM would guarantee it). I don't think there is a minimum time or posts for signatures, I think it goes for posting links and costomizing your avitar (though you can pick a generic avitar) until you have been here for 30 days or have I beleive 50 posts.
I don't think that there is a minimum amount of posts for signatures, it is 50 posts I think for costome avitars.
In the general guidelines thread, it says "after awhile" you will find that you can post links. After a little while longer, you will find you can use a siggy. How are you supposed to know when that is? I don't want to get banned either, so I am avoiding links altogether. How do I know when I can post them?
When you try one and it works??? IDK - I hung around a bit before I tried a siggy, and when I did, it worked and nobody said anything, so I guessed it was okay, and I just put up an avatar of any kind couple weeks ago.... When I did that, it said "failed" but when I went back to the list, there it was!:lol:
I thought it was an undisclosed amount of posts before you can have a signature... I will wait awhile before I put one on, just in case.
