Actually, it depends on your mood! There have times when I write that d, and I can think of about a dozen OTHER things that would be appropriate at that given moment, the nicest of which is probably "darned", lol!
Oh...I was under the impression that the meaning was always "darned"! Just kidding....I knew it was "dopey".
