We are getting another 3-5 inches of snow today. Dh went out about 1:30 and will probably be gone most of the night salting and plowing the streets. We just about was rid of all the snow and it's back!!! I know spring is just around the corner, buttttttttt, enough is enough. I want sunshine and 70's.

You probably will get it, I think it is coming your way. If there was a way to stop it, I would. Next year, it will be winter (Dec, Jan, Feb) in Florida.
Hop on down to Texas. This week we are warm and sunny Tomorrow we may have a 70 degree swing, however. It happens all the time down here, 80 degrees one day -10 the next Makes it very hard to ever completely change seasonal clothes out.

Hey, Kris! If you're sending the Pink Jet up to Ohio, stop by my place, too! Rachael has Swing Dancing tonight, and we need milk. I took her out about a half-hour ago, telling her that if I had been aware of how bad it was BEFORE I had left, she'd be staying home. She told me the main road would be clear.... NOPE! So I came to the first light on the main road. I stopped at the light...and watched the car in the next lane slide THROUGH the light! (Fortunately it had just turned, and those coming from the other direction was taking their time to get started!) I told Rachael we were going HOME!!! When we got there, she got on FB and learned that they decided to cancel.... It's suppose to quit soon, though!
Elijah is stranded in Columbus at a hotel with the kids from the youth group. He is expected home tomorrow after 2:00pm. I was glad the bus driver decided it was too bad to continue on home and stopped.
He's probably having a great time there! Actually, the snow has stopped here. We've got enough to cover the ground, but I doubt there's more than a half-inch. It's enough to be pretty. By morning, the roads should be clear. I hope the bus driver waits until around ten to leave, well after the morning traffic is gone!

Total storm total, 7.2 inches. It is sunny and cold. Looking forward to spring/summer!!! 1mom04 - did you get a lot of snow, too? Jackie, so glad it stopped, they are to get in around 2, so they must be waiting for the road crews to get their jobs done. All schools are closed in our area, again.
We got around 3 or 4 inches & it was fast!!! It was freezing rain for quite awhile & after not hearing it for awhile I assumed it was over and looked lout....we were already covered!!! I don't think our city was prepared...there were no plows or salt trucks out until many hours later.
They cancelled co-op AGAIN! We close when one particular district is closed. And wouldn't you know, it's the ONLY district in the county that closed! I'm frustrted by it, because that means three days we've cancelled. With Rachael going to ECOT next month sometime, each class she misses will mean one more we'll have to probably pay the Physics teacher to come and do one-on-one with her (since Rachael can't finish up Physics at co-op once she joins ECOT).
No, she's a good bit away from me, northeast. Speaking of which, should we try to get people together this spring sometime? If y'all are interested, we'll start a new thread on it and see what we can come up with. Maybe in April. But let me warn you, 1mom04!!! OhioMom is actually a fugitive from the law! She almost got us arrested the last time!!! (And YOU thought she was just a mild-mannered homeschooler, lol!!!)
