That's right it is snowing here. Almost an all out blizzard. I have the cook stove going and it fills sooo good. DH is not happy about it at all. I am loving it. I know I am weird. Speaking of weather I hope everyone in the hurricane area are doing well.

:cool: I have mixed feelings on that one! I grew up where winter ran from Oct into June and down here it rarely snows! We are supposed to be 90 today!

Ohhhh, how I would love it to snow here ! It was 45 deg here today (113)...though there is only about 5 or 6 weeks (hopefully) of hot weather, until temps should drop to the 30's .
Im so over the aircon- it runs most of the year. We were thinking of taking the kids to Lapland this Christmas to see Santa..and see the snow.

we do have a big indoor snow centre , in one of our shopping malls here though, just not the same as being outside in the snow.

I am SO looking forward to the cooler weather!! I wish it would snow here. We don't get much of that though. Although, Last year was a fairly snowy winter. A bit out of the ordinary but we LOVED it!! I'm hoping we have more of the same this year. The leaves on some of the trees are already turning. I think winter will come early this year. Sometimes I miss living in Colorado and being in the snow.... Funny thing is that I HATED it when we were there.. :)

Not me, I don't want snow now!! I do miss having at least one snow, but I like warm weather. We'll be hitting the pool in a little while!

Snow is beautiful to watch when it is falling and then I am sick of it. I would love warm weather all year long except for a little snow at Christmas.

Oh Please give me some snow, just a little please.
It's so hot here right now it's 101 the heat index put it to 110 and they closed the beaches down here. Oh you can go if you want but you have to walk and it's to hot to walk that far. They close the beaches because of the hurricane and the high tides that are suppose to be coming but we aren't getting anything right now but heat.

I have family in Colorado and they tell me the same thing. I always say that I wish I had their snow but they say I will be sick of it after one winter season.

It rained hard last night, I thought we might wake up to snow. I haven't been able to see the mountains by us yet, they might have snow, but just enough to cover the tops.

    I love snow!!

You can send some of that snow to the east. I am looking forward to snow again this year. This should be our last winter with snow for awhile.

Well I am 140 miles away from you and all we are getting is rain right now. Yet it is very cold today.

I hope it doesn't snow, my grass is just starting to come up nicely.

When it settled down enough for the girls to go out (after school). Dd3 was bringing in snowballs for everyone. She was so cute.

I love being back in a four season climate, but I can wait a couple more months for snow. We woke up to hard freezes last weekend in Yellowstone (we were tent camping, LOL). Last night we covered the garden due to a freeze warning, but luckily it only got down to 35.

At least we knew it was going to be cold so we had warm sleeping bags and extra blankets. The hardest part was crawling out into the cold and cooking breakfast on the camp stove. After the sun got above the trees it was warm during the day, 70s and 80s.
