I should add this: The Marriage Bed and this: The Generous Wife (this one has a husbands counterpart too) These are the same people/company, and there are also books - maybe Generous Wife/Husband titles. Anyway. In our journey with similar subjects a few years ago, these sites and the information on them proved to be invaluable. I still visit from time to time.
I just have to say how grateful I am for my dh. He really is a wonderful husband and father. Tonight he not only spent time helping me with a few chores, but he spent some much needed individual time with our 4yo. After we talked last night I have already seen a huge change in the way he is. He is so much nicer and speaks with so much more respect and kindness toward me. I have fallen in love with him all over again....not that I ever fell out of love...I just forgot. and I think he did too. I would think that if we actually do a relationship check every week or two things will run much smoother for us.
keep going girl. It takes work but worth it. My dh and I been together for over 30 years and I love him more then anything. Now sometimes well I wouldn't go there.
