Took my first karate lesson in 4 years. Had nothing to eat/drink really, ended up over exerting and getting dehydrated, and subsequently developing heat stroke. Btw for the record the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke is rather jarring. One has you chugging water, the other leaves you blind, struggling to breathe against a choking windpipe in a cold public shower in your underwear trying not to cook yourself. Naturally this was quite embarrassing, seeing as how I had to leave the lavatorial facilities in such a state to inform the instructor that I was on the verge of suffocation and required emergency medical care. Fortunately a good minute on the floor managed to revive enough blood flow or whatever that I could get myself fixed up a bit before the ambulance arrived.

After some tests I was taken to a nearby hospital and given 2 liters of IV fluids and numerous other tests. I was then dropped off at my bike and rode home. It was... not fun to say the least. It hurt me inside the most though, karate used to be my *thing*, I used to be able to do it for hours on end and now it hospitalizes me.
