Our homeschool groups have a soccer "get-together". Don't really know what else to call it. They did it last year and we decided it would be fun to join in this year. Well, we started last Wednesday. The mothers are coaching, but really don't know how. It is for fun and that is okay(more power to good, clean fun!). I seemed to know more, just because I played for about 5 years when I was younger so I got thrust to the front. I don't remember enough! Someone said "isn't it this way?" and I said " I think it's this way." Anyway, I want to know and I can't find my answers on the internet. We get along great so there are no problems anywhere - we just need some answers. If anyone knows - When you make a goal, do you start back in the middle? I guess that is the one question I can think of.... does anyone have someone in soccer?
I think it just gets thrown in from the side line. Kind of like basketball, when a basket is made, it's thrown in from the sideline. I could be wrong. Dd played soccer in the fall but we missed the spring session due to a broken arm. But I remember them throwing it in after a goal was made.
Sabrina, I know nothing about soccer, but I found this site and thought it might help. http://www.soccerhelp.com/Soccer_Rules.shtml
I'll have Rachael talk to you when she gets home from soccer practice. She's played since she was four, and is refing for Phillip's league! I think you go to the middle when they score, but am not sure!
I think so too. I believe that you start again in the middle to be on neutral ground again. Thanks - I will check back.
