I have both my kids using SOS and they really like it. My question is:

Is there a way for me to access the SOS from my laptop. I have installed the program on 3 different laptops, each child works on a different computer. We have a home network and I would like to access their assignments from my laptop. Can this be done?

If you install the network version - teacher - you can do it. That's what I do with Jake. The entire program is on his netbook and then the teacher portion is on my laptop so I can access it from here.

    YEp, I third it!
We have done this. This weekend we are reinstalling math on the kids computer after wiping out thier computer and resetting it up... ARGh... But you can sure set it up that way and if its not able to be set up then save it toyour network.. then access it via the network
I can acess all of our computers from my main one.

Thanks so much ladies. I will try that. I have the full version on the kids' computers and then I installed the full version on mine. That did not work. I'll try what you suggested. Thanks again to all.

Do each of the kids run off of the same database? That will be a problem I think if each one is separate.

What about putting the MAIN database for all of them on your laptop and then do the networked part on their's?

I think this is what I should have done. They have been using it all year, so I do not want to switch things now. I think when they switch grade I will reinstall the whole thing.

Yeah - we backed up onto a flash drive..... reinstalled on Jake's netbook and then put his stuff back on. Pretty simple once I took the time to do it ;)
