Last week, while cleaning the house, my husband threw away the notepad that had my entire homeschool plan for this year. My curriculum choices, literature assignments for my oldest, my basic scheduleing plan, my calendar, everything. I've only purchased about 1/3 of our curriculum and can't remember what else I was getting! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So it's back to the drawing board a month before we start.

Are you absolutely sure he threw it away and didn't just put it somewhere???

The ending of a sitcom would have him telling his buds, "And she never asked me to help clean house ever since! Smart, eh?" Fade to black, roll credits...

    I'm with you: AAAaaaaarrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

He saw the first page of the notepad, saw that it was his notes on something, and tossed the whole thing. He remembers doing it. I remember that it was the same notepad that all of my HS notes were in.

oh my goodness! I DO like pen and paper for this kind of stuff too.

Next time take a pic of it and put it in your pc after you are done.

Some one through away a paper that had a 25 dollar Amazon gift code/card on it too...of mine this week! ARG!

I should note that I'm not upset at DH. He didn't do it on purpose and he feels horrible. I understand why he thought the whole notepad was his.

    How frustrating!

Good luck getting it all put back together.

Who knows maybe there will be a good side to this and you will find something that wasn't on your list that is an even better fit for your family.

That's what I've been praying for today... That God would use this "set back" to direct me towards curriculum that is what is best for us.

I'm in the "everything happens for a reason" camp, but I would still be really frustrated right now if I were in your shoes. Hope you figure out your perfect year quickly.

Oh, I'm really frustrated. But I'll get over it.

At least I thought to get my stuff together today, and not Friday. See, I'm going to Teach Them Diligently on Saturday, and wanted to be sure my list was up-to-date with the best prices I could find online. That way, I can take it Saturday and buy anything that happens to be less expensive than what I've found elsewhere. [I won't be caught in a "convention trap" buying what I don't want to dropping more money than necessary.]

AAAGGHH! Amie, I just hyperventilated for you! Oh my goodness!

Okay, so can you go back over any forums or FB posts that you have had recently that might jog your memory about certain pros and cons of curriculum? Pull out a catalog and skim to see what might jump out at you as "Pick me!" items?

Praying that the right curriculum presents itself to you!

I had a couple of chat logs with some moms who were helping me brain storm, so I figured out my science and 1 of my history choices. I'll get there before Friday. If I decided once, surely I can decide again.

I redid our calendar today, so that's done.

I rescheduled all 3 grades of math. So that's done.
