so I have read that sotw 1 and history go very well tgthr, but I was wondering if anyone had done these two togthr and if it is necessary to get the sotw activity guide or if the history pockets is enough. Any input?

I'm not sure why, but history pockets are boring to me. I do love the SOTW AG though.. even though I don't care much for SOTW (or the 4 year history cycle). I love all the crafts and recipes that are in it. History pockets to me feel very sit at the table and color where the AG is more get up and get moving feeling.

I know others love the history pockets though, so take my thoughts with a grain fo salt..lol

I've used and enjoyed both but not together. I would suggest using the activity guide that goes with SOTW since there's lots of activities to use with the chapters. I don't think HP have enough to do, besides the coloring, so I personally would not do them together.
